How long does digital design take?

The duration of the digital design process depends on many factors. Among them are the project’s complexity, the amount of functionality, the complexity of product navigation, the complexity of the design idea, etc. On average, digital design will take this long for different business sizes:

Product discovery:

• Enterprises: 60-120 hours
• Middle-size project: 30-60 hours
• Small projects: 15-30 hours

UI/UX design:

• Enterprises: 100-250 hours (UX), 200-300 hours (UI)
• Middle-size project: 60-100 hours (UX), 55-110 hours (UI)

How many design revisions can I get?

As many as you need. Our goal is that as a result of our cooperation, you will be completely satisfied with the result. Therefore, you can check the design at any time during its creation, monitor its progress, and make as many edits as you see fit.

What will you do if I don’t like the design?

In our practice, this has never happened before, but if suddenly our client does not like the end result, we will try to find out the reason and quickly fix what he does not like. However, it should be borne in mind that when creating a design, our specialists strictly adhere to the requirements and vision of the client, so the probability of error is minimal.

How can I monitor the progress of my project?

Each project that our team works on is monitored by a project manager who you can contact at any time. He will be able to show you the progress of your project and find out if you like everything at a certain stage. We are also always in favor of regularly holding video meetings to discuss plans and work done, receive feedback and discuss all the project details. Moreover, we use modern task management tools to which you will also have access.

How do you check the quality of the created design?

First, at Northell, we use UX Eye Tracker, which allows exploring user behavior during interaction with the product. Only 1% of companies use this method. An eye tracker is a unique tool that captures the movement of a person’s gaze and helps get a record of where and for how long the user was looking.

Secondly, we regularly test the design on real users to understand how the design we created is convenient, logical and understandable.

What models of cooperation do you offer?

Northell offers 3 cooperation models: Fixed-Price, Time & Material and Dedicated Team. In order to choose the right model of cooperation for your company, you can consult with us. 

• The Fixed Price model works at a fixed cost. This payment model is suitable for projects that have detailed terms of reference, estimates and prototypes. Thanks to this, the customer, even before the start of work, presents what needs to be developed and what budget to lay down for implementation.
• Time and Material (TM) is an hourly rate of work. This model is suitable for customers who understand that the same project can be implemented in different ways. With TM, the client sets a task, and the performer estimates how long it will take and names the cost.
• The dedicated team is a collaboration format when a client hires a dedicated team to work on a project. This format is suitable for customers with large projects that last 3 months or longer. In this case, the customer himself monitors the progress of work and is responsible for the project.
