search of banks and financial institutions.
Finance Brokers is a mortgage platform from Romania that helps people
find banks and financial institutions and arrange a mortgage at a favorable
price/exchange rate. Users using the platform can find a more profitable
mortgage option for themselves using a special calculator.
Our partner had certain ideas about how the product should look and how it should
function. The first challenge for our team was to come to a common decision and
convince our partner of what the product should be. The second one was to identify
the main needs of the user and the basic information that the user wanted to see.
As a result, it had to be presented in the form of an interface and a product.
We conducted many workshops with our partner and spent quite a lot of time
validating the idea. Our partner team provided us with various templates and
schemes of how their product should work.

Our team spent a lot of time agreeing on the platform’s style, concept, and colors. We created a UI kit for Finance Brokers with a rather colorful color scheme. We created all elements for the platform (buttons, side menu buttons, text inputs, steppers, selection controls, icons, tabs, notifications, cards, dropdowns, modals, messages).
For the Finance Brokers platform, we chose light colors but with bright accents. Our team tried to make sure that there was a lot of air in the design of the platform and nothing distracted users from the targeted actions.
In order to make it convenient for users to calculate how much it is more profitable for them to take a mortgage, we added the following values to the calculator, which can be entered using a special slider: property price, deposit, loan amount, monthly repayments. The calculator automatically calculates all the necessary data about the mortgage, and users can decide whether it suits them or not.
After the users receive the data on the loan and conditions, they can go to the page of offers from various banks. This page displays banks with various mortgage offers. Users can evaluate the conditions of various lenders and choose the most suitable one for them.
Users who apply for a mortgage and take out a loan have their own account with tasks that they need to complete. The tasks page displays information about how much a person needs to pay and when, how much is left to pay, when the next payment is, etc.
We have also developed a special messenger inside the platform so that users can communicate, find out the information and details they need about their mortgages and loans.
As a result, we created a user-friendly and well-functioning product that provides all
the necessary information for users. We took into account all the wishes and ideas of
our partner and brought them to life. During product design, we used best practices
and modern trends. Northell team built a great platform that solves users’ problems
and changes the process of providing mortgages in the region.
