A simple and convenient application
for managing your credit cards.
Cardeo is an application that helps people manage their credit
cards keeping track of when to make payments, switching
between accounts, and knowing how much to pay.
Our partner had ideas about how the application should look and what
functionality it should have. Our partner shared his product idea and vision
with our team at the first stages of work. Then, we held several workshops to
agree on the work plan and project details.
The main challenge for our team was to make complex functionality easy to
understand for users. We also needed to make the application compact but
perform many different functions.
Based on the concept of the application and
its design, we prepared a roadmap to start
the development in an agile manner:

For the Cardeo application, we developed a design system from scratch. Our team created all elements for the platform (icons, headings, dropdowns, inputs, buttons, graphs, etc.)
Together with a partner, we thought about the best colors to choose for the application. Since Cardeo is a banking application, we decided that the most appropriate primary color for the platform would be dark purple. Our team made all other parts of the platform white with bright elements for accents.
We made the initial pages with dark yellow descriptions of the application benefits and features. It is the company logo color. We tried to place all the elements on the platform in such a way that you can feel the air on each page of the application.
The application onboarding consists of two parts. We made the first part in the form of a carousel where the advantages and main features of the application are described. Next, together with our partner, we decided to add registration elements to the onboarding pages (entering a name, email, date of birth, postcode, etc.)
For users to connect the card to the application, they should first select a provider. Then they should fill in the card details and wait a few seconds until Cardeo processes the request. The advantage of this platform is that all processes are fast and users only need to make a few clicks to perform any action.
On the dashboard, users see total balance, total credit limit, interest and fees paid in the last 3 months, credit cards list, latest transactions, etc. They can also use the repayment calculator.
The repayment calculator allows users to calculate how much they can save. In the form of a graph, repayments and minimum payments are presented. Cardeo works out the best way to split the monthly payment across users’ cards to reduce interest. With Cardeo, you can create your own repayment plan.
Using Cardeo, you can take out a loan and set a credit limit. The credit dashboard displays balance, interest rate, total limit, statements, transactions and other elements. The users can increase their credit limit, as well as split transfer.
As a result, we created an advanced but user-friendly card managing application.
According to the first feedback from users, the application is super convenient
and covers most of their needs. Moreover, the application works quickly and
efficiently thanks to the development technologies we used.
