PropTech & Real Estate Software for Brokerages, Lenders and Property Managers

Real estate products juggle many user roles, constantly changing listing data and money moving between parties. Most platforms that stall do so because those roles and data flows were never designed together.

BONUS Free: PropTech scope review — a senior engineer reviews your feature list, user roles and integrations (listing feeds, payments, e-signature) and sends back a written scope outline.

In short: Northell builds custom real estate software: listing and agent-matching platforms, property and asset management systems, and lending workflows, designed around your users and data.
CAPABILITIES

What PropTech Software Covers

Listing & Agent-Matching Platforms

Search, filtering, maps and location detection, plus matching buyers and sellers with the right agents, as we built for AgentScout.

Property & Asset Management Systems

Portfolio, tenant, lease and maintenance workflows with dashboards for owners and managers.

Lending & Construction-Loan Workflows

Loan tracking, inspections and fund-release processes for lenders, as we built for NWCC.

Booking, Payments & Rent Collection

Viewings, bookings and recurring payments through established payment providers.

Admin Panels & Role-Based Access

Back-office tools that let your team manage agents, users and permissions without developer help.

Product Design & Research

Interviews, personas, user flows, design systems and tested prototypes before development starts.

FIT CHECK

Built for Specific Buyers, Not Everyone

Brokerages and agent networks

Need listing search, agent matching and client portals that work for buyers, sellers and agents at once.

Property and asset managers

Outgrowing a PMS plus spreadsheets for leasing, maintenance and owner reporting.

Lenders and PropTech founders

Building loan workflows or a new real estate product with several user roles.

If a standard listing website or PMS covers your needs, license it; we build where your workflows or users don't fit a template.

FAQ

Common Questions About PropTech Software

Do you work with MLS or IDX listing data?

Yes. Listing feeds are scoped in discovery because access rules differ by MLS and by country; where a RESO Web API or IDX feed is available we integrate it, and we plan caching, refresh cadence and display rules around the provider's terms.

Can you take over or rebuild an existing real estate platform?

Yes. Both of our published real estate projects started from something that already existed: AgentScout from a site template whose concept wasn't working, NWCC from an older product that needed missing functionality. We start with an audit of the product, users and data before proposing a plan.

Who is a typical client?

Brokerages and agent networks, property and asset managers, lenders and loan servicers, and founders building a new PropTech product. The common thread is a workflow with several user roles that off-the-shelf tools don't fit.

How do you handle payments, rent collection and e-signatures?

Through established providers (for example Stripe for payments and DocuSign or a similar e-signature API), so card data and signature evidence stay with services built for them. We design the flows, permissions and audit trail around them.

How long does a real estate platform take to build?

It depends on the number of user roles and integrations. We give a timeline after a scoping call rather than a number on this page; a focused first release is usually scoped to weeks, not quarters, and larger platforms ship in stages.

Do you also design the product?

Yes. On AgentScout the work covered research, personas, user flows, a design system and a clickable prototype tested with users, followed by development.

What real estate software has Northell Design built?

Two published projects show the work end to end: AgentScout, a US property marketplace that matches buyers and sellers with local agents, and NWCC, a construction-loan management platform for lenders. Each case page describes the challenge, process and result.

Why choose Northell Design for a PropTech product?

Because we design for every role in the transaction at once, plan listing data, payments and e-signature integrations up front, and do the product research before development, as on AgentScout. You get one team from discovery to launch.

Does Northell Design build property management and asset management software too?

Yes. We build tenant and owner portals, leasing and rent workflows, maintenance systems and portfolio reporting, either as a full platform or as a layer around the PMS you already use.
