Review Tui

Review Tui is a company that provides reputation management service.
  Deliverables

Brief & Overview

Only by having an objective assessment of the level of customer satisfaction, the company can adjust and improve its further performance. That’s where Review Tui comes in handy, a web app that allows feedback and customer satisfaction management, as well as review posting directly to Google Maps and Facebook.

Challenge

The Vanguard 86 company aimed to provide a solution for B2B and B2C businesses that would simplify the process of communication with their customers and enable an opportunity to post customer reviews directly to Google Maps and Facebook.

Design Process

   Step 1

Research
  • Understanding the client’s needs;
  • Interview templates development;
  • In-depth interviewing of the target audience.

   Step 3

Prototype
  • Logo & brand book design;
  • Customer journey map;
  • Information architecture (site map);
  • Wireframing;
  • UI design.

   Step 2

Analyze
  • Evaluating customers’ needs and web app logic;
  • User persona;
  • User stories;

   Step 4

Deploy
  • Web app presentation and launch;
  • Evaluating performance metrics and user feedback;
  • Improvement of the UI/UX design features based on feedback.

Investigation

To have an in-depth understanding of the specifics of the project and address the client’s needs, we conducted a detailed interview with the CEO of the company regarding:
  • The main goals of the project and the web app;
  • Strengths and weaknesses of the product;
  • Target audience and factors that drive their purchasing decisions;
  • Direct/indirect competitors on the market;
  • Reference, examples of websites, apps, etc. that the client finds exemplary;

The main challenge at this step was to make sure that we are on the same wavelength with the client from the very beginning to ensure fruitful cooperation.

To learn more about their motivations and frustrations, we conducted interviews with target demographic representatives, inquiring about their wants and needs, preferred technologies, and colors associated with such a web solution. With their pain moments and preferences in mind, we created three user personas representing the target audience of the web app.

It took the most time to understand the most optimal way to realize the desired functionality, taking into account the features needed yet keeping the design simple and convenient for users.

Through a number of sessions with the Vanguard 86 representatives, we discussed and agreed on the exclusive customer journey map, site map, and wireframes.

Logo & UI

Our team created a brand book containing element logotype, brand colors, patterns, and fonts. As a logo, we decided to use Tui, a small and bright bird native to Australia since the client is based in Australia. The frame in which the bird was placed symbolizes the review frame. After setting the final flow and agreeing on branding, we created UI design with the brand book materials and customer preferences in mind.

Northell’s communication and planning were excellent. These guys made sure to get under the skin of the brief. The end result is a web application design (UI) and flow (UX) that we're impressed with.

Not only do I have no hesitation in recommending Northell to other people, but we will be sure to use them again if the need arises.

Results

Our dedicated approach, detailed research, and expertise in UI/UX design allowed us to create a high-end reputation management web app.
  • The company’s agents can now send a review form to the customers through the custom link, message, or even SMS.
  • If the feedback is positive (5 stars), it will be automatically posted on Google Maps and Facebook.
  • If it’s not positive (4 stars and lower), the company’s representatives can reach out to the customer to find out about their difficulties and improve their experience with the brand.

In response to the demand for the advanced account settings for businesses, we are now working on a more complex UI/UX design for the Review Tui web app.

Brief & Overview

Racers360 is a personalized online motorsports coaching project that makes pro-coaching affordable and accessible to any racing fan. The platform offers online lap and race analysis services provided by the very best coaches in the industry.

Challenge

Racers360 needed a more user-friendly and attractive design for the web app to provide a better experience to their learners and coaches.

Design Process

   Step 1

Research
  • Understanding the client’s needs;
  • Preliminary and user research.

   Step 3

Prototype
  • Customer journey map;
  • Site map;
  • Wireframes;
  • Desktop design;
  • Responsive design.

   Step 2

Analyze
  • Analyzing the web app logic needed;
  • User persona;
  • User stories;

   Step 4

Deploy
  • Web app presentation;
  • Improvement of the UI/UX design features based on performance metrics and user feedback.

Investigation

The client provided us with the information on the existed web app and detailed brief on the target auditory. After conducting preliminary research and user research, we created user persona and user stories that emphasized the wants and needs of the target audience. The main goals of the target users included the desire to improve racing skills, save time and money, and have a pleasant time committing to the hobby. The major issue was bad user experience since the visitors couldn’t understand what exactly the platform offered, how to use it, etc. We identified that the target users were men older than 40-something, with middle to high income, living in the US. With this auditory in mind, we made sure that the design was simple and easy-to-navigate, with bright buttons, clear instructions, and call-to-actions. This allowed us to create an improved customer journey map and site map.

During the research, we understood that the web app lacked an essential functionality: separate interfaces for authorized users and coaches. Therefore, we developed two different solutions with relevant functionality for racing enthusiasts who wanted to get professional advice on their video, as well as for coaches who were reviewing lap and race videos submitted by the learners.

This allowed us to make the system much more convenient to use for both parties. Also, we added gamification elements and achievements to make the experience on the platform even more enjoyable.

After developing wireframes for the web app, we created a simple and bright design that met the needs and preferences of the target audience and clearly displayed all the important information.

  • Advanced message board for communication between racers and coaches.

JustAskMe

JustAskMe is a project that emphasizes the power of questions and answers that allow getting to know someone better and with fun.

  Deliverables
  UX, UI

  USA

Brief & Overview

The JustAskme website connects fans with their favorite artists, creators, influencers, friends, and even crushes. The influencers, in turn, get the opportunity to earn by answering questions from their auditory.

Challenge

JustAskMe needed a user-friendly and stylish website to familiarize the users with the opportunity, engage them in active social participation, and convey the value of the platform to both the creators and their audiences.

Design Process

When creating the website for JustAskMe, one of the most important tasks we faced was to translate the concise message with the right visuals to the target auditory. Every part of the website design had to convey the value of the project and the tone of voice, engaging for the target users.

Thus, we decided to use a simple design, vivid colors, and nice illustrations that created the feeling of community and value of communication promoted by JustAskMe. Also, we developed a brand identity of the project, coming up with an attractive logo and style.

Step 1

Research
  • Understanding the client’s needs and target audience;
  • In-depth interviewing of the target users.

Step 2

Analyze
  • Analyzing the web app logic needed;
  • User persona;
  • User stories.

Step 3

Prototype
  • Logo & style design;
  • Customer journey map;
  • Site map;
  • Wireframes;
  • UI design;
  • Responsive design;

Step 4

Deploy
  • Website presentation;
  • Improvement of the UI/UX design features based on performance metrics and user feedback.

Investigation

The main challenge was to create the project from scratch, building the business logic, user personas, site map, and additional features that could make the use of the high-end platform easy and pleasant. Equipped with the desired functionality provided by the client and feedback from the target audience, we analyzed and created a customer journey map that covered the wants and needs of the users.

Then, we created wireframes according to the users’ needs. After agreeing on the wireframes with the front-end developer and the customer, we created the logo and the overall style of JustAskMe and then worked out the UI part.

Logo & UI

The logo had to be unique, memorable, and easy to recognize. We decided to transform the title of the project, with “ask” in focus. As the main palette, we chose a vivid violet theme with a gradient background and friendly illustrations to highlight that the platform is meant for a young audience that keeps us with the trends, loves to communicate and explore new things, and active both in real life and social media.

As there are more and more users searching the web and checking social media from mobile phones, we ensured the responsiveness of the design so that the users could enjoy the platform from any device.

Results

We created an engaging and stylish platform that allows users to connect with their favorite artists and influencers and receive answers to their questions. What’s more, the website was built responsive not only for users but convenient for the front-end developer and the client’s team. Thus, the JustAskMe team can perform website maintenance and further development with the web design created by Northell.
